Obesity is a condition that millions of people deal with in their everyday lives. For many, it’s an affliction that makes a healthy life both difficult to have and almost impossible to maintain. Dieting and working out, while having a profound effect for some, is not always an option for the millions who are desperate to lose weight and live better and healthier lives.
U.S. Obesity Epedemic
Studies done in the United States as current as this month find results that show extreme obesity is affecting more children than ever before. As seen at http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/news/2010/03/100319_obesity.shtml – “more than 700,000 children aged 2-19 in Southern California were included in the study by healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente…7% of boys and 5% of girls were extremely obese and one in twenty are a full 50% above what doctors consider healthy.”
Although, obesity in children can’t soley be attributed to overeating and lack of exercise. It’s important we understand that excessive weight gain can be influenced by heredity and familial behavior. Others also include:
- Genetics
- Culture
- Physical inactivity
- Emotional or psychological factors
- Gender
- Age
- High-fat / High Calorie diet
- Medical problems
This has left some with only the option of having a weight-loss procedures from centers like MetropolitanMD, a Chicago liposuction and cosmetic surgery center, but science has come up with a new way.
LipoDissolve
LipoDissolve (also known as “Lunchtime Lipo”) is a new and experimental weight loss and “fat-melting” cosmetic procedure that many see as an alternative to liposuction surgery. What it involves is a series of tiny injections that are full of chemicals that dissolve fat in many areas of the body like the hips, stomach, face, waist, and arms. These chemicals quickly break down the fat in these areas, and individuals who take part in the treatment have shown to lose at-least 2-6 centimeters of the fatty area with each injection. Most of which is found in the high concentrated fat areas of the waist and stomach. Unfortunately, LipoDissolve is not a permanent solution considering that while it does help break down fat in the body, it doesn’t prevent future weight gain from occurring.
Some are cautious when suggesting LipoDissolve as a weight loss solution; feelings stem directly from the drugs unrelenting tests. However, for the most part it works as an effective and swift solution to the obesity problem that many have to deal with everyday.

You can keep your diet plan in control by keeping delicious and healthy snacks on hand. Look for options that are easily portable like fruits, yogurts, fat-free crackers, low-fat dressings, popcorns etc.

Even if an obese individual opts for this method to get rid of the subcutaneous fat, they will still have the possible problems related to obesity: high LDL cholesterol, elevated blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, and the risk of type II diabetes. A proper diet and regular exercise have been proven to help with these problems. So even if someone does elect to choose lipo, they still need to eat right and exercise regularly.
According to me Liposuction is good for weigh loss. Liposuction has become so popular over the last decade. The effectiveness of this procedure can be measured in the sense that what is removed can be weighed on a scale. In this sense, then, it works; it does remove fat.
Thanks for the information. But, I really prefer natural weight loss as compared to any surgical or cosmetic weight loss alternative.
Obesity is definetly one of the major problems in USA, but natural weight loss is better than cosmetic weight loss!
as you go thru all reviews nobody is saying that cosmetic weight loss is good. I am also agree that natural weight loss is far better than anything else.
Liposuction can be a real solution for many people who are unable to loose weight through traditional methods. Doctors usually recommend other types of weight loss before performing surgery.
